Safety Day 2026

With the closing event held at the Parma site, the Riccoboni Group concluded the series of initiatives organised for World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2026, promoted by the International Labour Organization (ILO).

These initiatives involved the sites in Ostuni (29th April), Predosa (4th May) and Parma (8th May), bringing together employees, managers and operators to discuss and reflect on one of the key issues for the Group: protecting people’s health and safety.

World Day 2026 was dedicated to the topic chosen by the ILO of “ensuring a healthy psychosocial working environment”. The goal was to explore the role that work organisation, professional relationships, mutual support and people’s well-being play in preventing risks and creating safe and sustainable working environments.

The closing event in Parma took place both in person and online, allowing operational staff to take part who work at active sites all across Italy. It was a valuable opportunity to share experiences, analyse the results achieved and reinforce a culture of prevention which represents one of the core pillars of the Group’s identity.

The participation of ANMIL (the Italian Association for People Injured and Disabled at Work) was particularly important. Through testimonials from ANMIL, participants were led to reflect profoundly on the value of individual responsibility and safety.

Throughout the initiatives, there were also awards for employees who have stood out with their commitment, attention and upstanding behaviour in HSE, actively helping spread the safety culture within the organisation.

As reminded by the Group’s CEO, Angelo Riccoboni, the company has a clear goal guiding everything it does: “Zero Accidents”. This principle is not just a policy objective, but a shared responsibility and daily commitment aimed at ensuring ever safer working environments for everyone.

Through the three events in Ostuni, Predosa and Parma, the Riccoboni Group also joined the national initiative “Italia Loves Sicurezza”, promoted by the LHS Foundation to spread a culture of prevention and to promote best practices for World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

Our thanks go to everyone who took part in the events and who, through their own contributions every day, make safety a real shared value in everything the Group does.
